Health & Safety Officer
To £40k + car / car allowance + package
Our client, as part of continued expansion, is looking for a Health & Safety Officer to join their successful team. The role will be key within the business, taking responsibility for H&S compliance across the company, maintaining quality standards and ensuring adherence to company accreditations. The ideal background for this role is someone who has experience of: –
- Risk assessments and producing RAMS reports
- Onsite inspections
- Accident investigation
- Conducting Tool Box Talks
- Performing H&S Training
- Managing CHAS registration
- Producing RIDDOR reports
An ideal candidate would come from a Civil Engineering, Construction, Traffic Management background or similar, however, they are willing to look at people from outside the industry. In an ideal world you would have IOSH, NEBOSH or similar qualifications but they are also happy to consider people who are qualified through experience. It is a standalone position (with admin support) at H&S Officer level at the moment but there is a natural route to progress to a H&S Manager position as they expand.
The role will be partially office based but also involve travel to project sites within the South East.
