Accounts Assistant £22k, 12 month Maternity Cover, High Peak
A hugely successful Manufacturer in the High Peak is looking for an Accounts Assistant to assist the Finance Director to provide financial support to the rest of the business.
It is expected that you will have had exposure to and be capable of dealing with:
ales Ledger – maintenance and reconciliation?
- Purchase Ledger – processing, payment run generation and remittance advice.
- Performing month end purchase ledger reconciliation?
- Processing expenses ?
- Bank and Cash flow – reconcile bank accounts daily.
- Posting cash and payments to the bank.
- Updating cash flow forecast.
- Performing monthly bank and petty cash reconciliations.
Calm and reliable, you will have high levels of attention to detail and be methodical in your work. If you have AAT qualifications, even better, but you must have previous experience of working within an accounts function of a busy, growing business, especially in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
